Overview

To record the greeting or message on an Auto Attendant, here are the directions to make it happen.  Just remember that if you want to change the number a prompt goes to, you have to let Tony know so he can make that change.

Phone

Voicemail Extension

PIN

Number of Auto Attendant


 

Directions

 

  1. Dial auto attendant (*xxxx)
  2. When you hear the greeting, press #*.
  3. Enter YOUR phone extension (last 4).
  4. Enter YOUR PIN then #.

 

Auto Attendant Prompts:

  • For business hours prompts, press 1
    • For the welcome greeting, press 1
    • For the main menu prompt, press 2
    • To return to the prompt provisioning main menu, press the * key
  • For afterhours prompts, press 2
    • For the welcome greeting, press 1
    • For the main menu prompt, press 2
    • To return to the prompt provisioning main menu, press the * key
  • For the informational announcement , press 5
  • To exit prompt provisioning, press the * key
