If there is a message waiting indicator light on your phone that is lit up, you can follow this command to turn it off:

•  Without lifting the handset, press #1440 Dial.

If for some reason you wish to have the message waiting indicator light go on, even though there should only be messages in the account for a few “positional” accounts, do the following to turn it back on:

•  Without lifting the handset, press #175 Dial.
