Major Steps for Requesting a Sound System

  1. Create a request in Incident IQ.
  2. Technology Services will conduct a walkthrough to determine whether the request falls under their coverage or if specialized support is required.
  3. A determination will be made regarding the scope of the project.
  4. If outside help is needed and/or equipment is to be ordered, obtain a budget number from the school or department.
  5. Schedule a walkthrough with the vendor, if applicable.
  6. Coordinate with Facilities/Trades.
  7. Order equipment.
  8. Inventory the received equipment.
  9. Schedule the installation.
  10. Schedule user training on the new sound system.
