- Graduating students will lose access to their school Google account (email and all connected services) once their accounts are disabled.
- Graduating students will have the ability to use Google Takeout starting June 1 and ending sometime after graduation when their accounts are disabled.

This guide shows you how to save your important files and data before your account is deactivated.
Steps to Save Your School Google Account Data:
There are two options for saving your data. You may export the data for use with a service outside of Google, or you may transfer it to another Google account.

Use Google Takeout to export your data.
- Go to https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout
- Follow the on-screen instructions to choose which Google services and data you want to download (like Gmail, Drive documents, etc.).
- Complete this process before your last day of school. School accounts are deactivated shortly after.

Use Google Takeout to transfer (copy) your data to a separate (personal) Google account.
- Go to https://takeout.google.com/transfer
- Enter the Google account to transfer your data to.
- Send code to other account.
- Verify code.
- Select the content to copy to other account.
