Overview

This will show you the process to do the initial setup for an AirTame 2.

Tools/Equipment Needed

  • AirTame 2 connected to a screen/projector
  • Internet Access

Instructions:

1.Plug in the AirTame to any screen using the provided type C to HDMI cable. DO NOT connect the USB A to the TV directly, please use the power brick provided.

2.Download and Open the AirTame app.

3.The app will discover all available AirTames to set up. Look at your projector/tv screen to see if it matches the AirTame name listed on the app.

4. Click on the blue Set up button if it matches.

5.Name the AirTame using this format: (School)Tame-Asset-Rm and press continue.

6.Create an Admin password to protect the device settings. Ask Classroom Tech Team for the password that way we can keep it standardized for future devices.

7. Connect it to the CSD-Device (5GHz). Ask Network Tech Team for the password and they will type it for you.

8. It will take a few seconds to finish the setup. If you get a “Failed to Connect” message. Just ignore it and quit the setup, it will take you to the main screen.

9. Once you are back to the main screen, you can start using the AirTame. For technical quesitons of specific configuration information contact Classroom Tech.
