Optional Setup
Mosyle Assignment & App Download

In Moysle go to the Management tab and select +Add filter

- Some apps are set to load automatically and will start downloading once you log into the MacBook; other apps not set to auto download can be accessed through the Manager App
Setup & Logins
iiQ Checkout
- Find the device in iiQ and assign it to the staff member
Staff Login
Initial Login
-
Click on Sign in with Google
-
Sign in with your Google sign-in credentials
- This will create a local account on the MacBook and sync the user’s Google password to the local account
- Note: If a person changes their password after the initial setup, they will need to log into the MacBook with their old password until they sync their new password with the local account on the MacBook
- Log staff members into Google Chrome, the Google Drive app, and Papercut
Returning User/tsadmin Login
-
click on the person icon in the top right corner and sign in with the username (Email Prefix or tsadmin) and password
- Note: For those having login issues or password issues, please refer to the following article:
-
If apps have not been preloaded on, they will begin to load at this point
Admin Privileges
-
The local accounts are automatically set to be a standard account and will not have admin privileges to load software or printers onto the laptop other than what is available in the Moysle Manager App and Papercut
- If a staff member would like to load particular applications and software, they will need to contact their SPOC, who can use the tsadmin account to load approved applications and software
- If the application or software is one used by many teachers either in the school or across the District, submit an application request to the Device Team so it can be added to Mosyle Manager
Conclusion
The MacBooks are now set up to create the local account through the Google login credentials. If specific apps for the MacBook are unavailable in Manger, please submit an app request ticket.
